Silicone foam is mainly made of silicone rubber raw material, supplemented with fillers (such as white carbon black), vulcanization accelerators, foaming agents and other auxiliary materials. After mixing evenly, it is made through high-pressure and high-temperature foaming process. Its microstructure presents a porous honeycomb like structure with a density as low as 0.16-0.45 g/cm ³ (matrix density 1.17 g/cm ³), forming a polymer elastomer with both elasticity and lightweight properties.
