
The production process of silicone foam mainly includes the following key steps:
Raw material mixing and feeding
Add the two-component liquid silicone gel (material A and material B) into the storage tanks of the feeder, and transport it to the mixing head for uniform mixing through a metering pump according to the set ratio and flow rate. Some formulas may add flame retardants, foaming agents, and other additives (such as aluminum hydroxide, organic foam microspheres, etc.) to enhance performance.
Rolling forming
The mixed silicone is pressed into the desired thickness by a rolling machine to form a sheet or roll. For special structures such as hollow octagonal foam, internal threads and frames need to be cut by a die-cutting machine, and waste materials need to be processed using a waste suction device.
Sulfurization treatment
After rolling, the material enters the drying oven for two sulfurization processes: first sulfurization for shaping, and second sulfurization for improving stability. Some processes use UV light curing or plasma treatment technology to optimize the cross-linking effect.

Post processing and composite
Die cutting and waste disposal: After punching and cutting, the waste should be dispersed to avoid damage or adhesion of foam.
Composite lamination: bonding with PET protective film, double-sided tape and other materials to form a multi-layer structure.
Surface treatment: such as silicone protective film coating or anti-static coating.
Finished product winding/slicing
The final product is rolled by a winding machine or sliced by an automatic slicing machine to complete production.
Technical Expansion: Different formulation processes can adjust the performance of foam. For example, flame retardant types require the addition of fillers such as aluminum hydroxide, while high rebound types require control of the proportion of hydrogen containing silicone oil.
